Digital Assessment technical requirements
Face-to-face and written assessment exam venue requirements
There are no venue requirements if candidates are taking Digital Grades and Diplomas remotely.
To start your application please complete the Apply to become a Registered Exam Centre with Trinity form on this web page.
On completion you will receive an email from our Centre Application Team. This will confirm receipt of your expression of interest. You should receive this email within fifteen minutes.
On receipt of the ‘Centre Application – Thank you for your interest’ email you will be asked to complete the Registration Form.

Your application will be reviewed. This may take up to 4 weeks.
You may be contacted should our Centre Application Team have any questions or need further information.
On completion, you will be notified by email of the outcome of your application, by a dedicated Trinity contact.
If your application has been successful, you will be sent a Letter of Appointment along with relevant guidance needed to run Trinity exams. Once registered, you will receive a dedicated contact who will support you with entering and delivering the exams.

Digital
Assessments that involve candidates recording and uploading a performance or undertaking an exam via video conference. These can be remote (Digital Grades and Diplomas only) or taken at an On-Premise Exam Centre.
On-Premise Exam Centre
Specific location(s) where candidates will take an exam(s) and/or be supported directly by the centre. Examples would include where a candidate undertakes an exam via video conference or face-to-face with a visiting Trinity examiner at the centre or sits a written exam in a controlled environment there. Support from the centre might involve the provision of technical equipment or assistance to record or upload a performance.
Remote (Digital Grades and Diplomas only)
Candidates will be enrolled by an individual, eg teacher or organisation. Candidates, or the person supporting the candidate such as a teacher or family member, will record the performance(s) in an unspecified location, such as at home, and will upload performance(s) directly onto the submission platform.
