Recognition by Brunel University

1 Aug 2023

Trinity College London is pleased to add Brunel University to the growing list of UK universities that accept the Integrated Skills in English (ISE) exam as proof of English language proficiency for entrance purposes. Overseas students who come to study at a UK institute of higher education are required to provide evidence of their English language level for academic study. The ISE 4-skills test is an ideal choice for this purpose as it supports the development of transferable skills for further study and employment.

Brunel University

Brunel University is a global university, dedicated to providing education and research relevant to the needs of industry and society, and ensuring that the UK is contributing to the knowledge base so it can compete on the world stage.

Since 1966, Brunel has championed innovation and advancement, pioneering sandwich degrees, and giving students the academic education and professional and personal skills they need to succeed in their future. In that time, the student population has increased from just 866 to over 14,000 and successful degree programmes have been developed in everything from anthropology to aerospace engineering; business management to healthcare sciences.

Brunel has a vibrant and diverse international community, and welcomes students from 150 countries. Located in Uxbridge town, West London, it’s also on the doorstep of the best student city in the world (QS Best Student Cities 2019) and offers easy access to central London in less than 40 minutes.

Brunel also has its own Language Centre (BLC), which can enhance the levels of students’ academic English before starting a degree, and help meet the English Language requirements for Brunel. BLC also provides free English support, and offers students the opportunity to learn another Modern Foreign Language for free alongside their degree.
